Planning for my Music Video

 The song of my choice is Sittin in My Room by Brandy. 

Props

The props that I will be using in the main scene will be a diary. This will be used to write down her feelings as many people did during this period. I want to incorporate a stereo, feathered boas, and a body mirror as well.


Costume

In my music video, the girls and the boys will be in casual attire while we are shooting at the park. Hopefully, they will wear a 90s inspired outfit but if that is not possible then we will wear modern clothing. The males would most likely wear jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers. While the girls might wear something similar to jeans a t-shirt or tights. The main model has multiple costumes as she would have to change into a few outfits for certain scenes. 


Schedule 

On November 19, I will complete my Storyboard Blog. On November 23, I will film the main scene of my commercial with my first model. On November 24, I will film the rest of the music video. On November 29, I will complete my first filming blog. December 1, I will complete my second filming blog. December 4, I will complete my editing blog. I will upload my music video on December 7. 


Location

The first location I will use is my bedroom. This will be the main scene. It will be bright and upbeat, relatable to most teenagers.  


The second location that I will use is the park. This will be the beginning of the music video. Here, the male and the female's love story will commence. 



Backup Plan

If I cannot use the park, then I will have to film it inside of a store. I will have to make adjustments to the plot. But, the plot will ultimately be the same but the little changes that I have planned will have to be done accordingly. Hopefully, the weather will permit us to use this setting.

Watch the Titles Website

Watchthetitles.com is a website that uses an interface to captivate viewers with short clips of a variety of film titles. These clips helps viewers get a boarder understanding of title sequences.The film titles that were used are from various film genres. This inspired my group and I to create the perfect title sequence for our film. This website gave me the impression that the graphics also play a heavy role in how the titles are portrayed. The majority of the titles on the website had creativity that would correlate with the theme of the film. The difference between the simplistic designs and the intricate ones is very prominent. The designs that have more detail caught my eye. It makes me wonder if there is a way that my group and I could incorporate something as such or create a simplistic title sequence that would still be related to our film. I think that we should maybe create an eye-catching sequence that emphasizes the theme of our film.

Planning Blog: Title Design

The name of our studio is R.A.L studios and the name of our production studio is R.A.L productions. The actors that we will be putting in the title of our film is Akiel Williams as himself, Mya Knight as herself, Jessica, Tommy, Dashaun, Sam, Michael, Greg, Gabby, Robert, Matthew, Keyshawn, and Princess. Our working film title is Life For Life: A Losing Game. The font of these letters will be in bold, Impact font. For example,  LIFE FOR LIFE:A Losing Game . The letters will be large enough for the audience could see and comprehend. The music that will be used throughout the film will be DMX- Slippin'. Hopefully, we could get the approval of the record company to utilize the instrumental and the lyrics. The visual and effects and editing will be done by Lela William.
