Hello, my name is Lela William. I'm 17 years old and a Pompano Beach native. I reside with my mother, father, and older brother, Alajahwon. My family and I have a close bond and try our best to maintain that. I am currently in my fourth year at Fort Lauderdale High School. These past three years attending this school has been a rollercoaster. However, I made it through and is almost at the finish line. Writing is a hobby I enjoy. I could write about almost anything that interests me. This hobby of mine led me to join the student newspaper, "The Navigator" last school year. I had a hard time in the beginning. I had to learn how to transition into a journalistic style of writing instead of an academic. I struggled somedays having writer's block or trying to incorporate elements into my article.
